Save The Children
JACX Property acted as Transaction Manager for the sale of a development site in Adelaide on behalf of Save The Children. Our role was to carefully manage the sale process of a strongly located residential development site in the inner city suburb of Glenside. As part of our engagement we appointed a local real estate agency and elected to divest the property via a public auction. The property was occupied by a local division of Save The Children and the second stage of our engagement was to source a new office for the team.
Previously, we have been involved in many office procurement roles for Save The Children and have also undertaken a portfolio audit for the organisation. Our audit identified opportunities for costs savings across the portfolio which have been subsequently implemented.
In 2016 we were delighted to represent Save The Children with relocating its Head Office in Melbourne. This was a major project and pleasingly we procured a new home for the organisation at 33 Lincoln Square South, Carlton. Our involvement in this project included the following key deliverables:
- Comprehensive search of market to identify options.
- Negotiation of commercial terms across many options during our engagement.
- Negotiation of favourable terms of approximately 3,000 square metres of accommodation at 33 Lincoln Square South, Carlton.
- Make Good exit negotiations at previous head office.
